Committed to guaranteeing public health and better living conditions, for the capital's families, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua executes a special cleaning day in municipal cemeteries, as part of the preparations for November 2, the Day of the All Souls. .
This announcement was made known from a visit made by Mayor Reyna Rueda in the Milagro de Dios cemetery, where she explained that the Municipality allocates an annual budget of 1 million Córdobas, for the cleaning and maintenance of the cemetery of the capital; He also indicated that these cemeteries are held periodic cleaning days and 2 special ones prior to May 30 and November 2.
On this second special day of cleaning, chapoda work, tree pruning, painting of gutters and curbs are carried out, as well as repair of luminaires; Therefore, it is expected to evacuate about 40 tons of solid waste in all cemeteries in Managua.
It was also announced that coordination is carried out with the Ministry of Health for the fumigation and elimination of mosquito breeding sites in cemeteries, an action that is carried out after cleaning them.
