Good Governance Authorities are activated to protect capital families

In response to the green alert decreed, due to the presence of low pressure in the Nicaraguan Pacific, and in protection of the capital's families; The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, in coordination with the institutions of the Departmental Committee for Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Attention, activated an emergency system to attend to critical points, carry out works to reduce risks and activate plans for emergencies that may arise.

Comrade Fidel Moreno made a tour of the Cedro Galán region located to the southwest of the capital, where work is carried out to evacuate the sediment from the riverbed and the slopes of the same are strengthened, to avoid the overflow of the waters and cause damage to the families that live around it.

He expressed that in this place, until the afternoon of Monday, October 14, it rained little in the capital and in the last 24 hours an average of 20 millimeters has been registered, in the area of the highway to Masaya it rained up to 36 millimeters; He also indicated that rains are expected for the hours of the night and that the volume of water is greater by an average of 70 to 100 millimeters in the next 24 hours, which requires activating a special plan that consists of having crews of operators and machinery, to serve families who may present emergency situations.

He also explained that the Municipality is on alert for a situation that may arise, for which he reiterated to the families of the capital, the commitment of the Good Government to attend to emergency situations and safeguard the lives of families.
