This Saturday, October 12, more than 500 young people from Managua, Tipitapa and Ciudad Sandino gathered at the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Park, to participate in the Futsal Lightning Tournament organized by Judicial Affairs of the National Police, in coordination with the Mayor's Office from Managua.
In this sporting event, 40 men's teams and 16 women's teams competed against each other.
This Lightning Soccer Tournament is a pilot project that encourages sport in young people, to keep them away from risky situations, providing them with these recreational spaces.
It also promotes healthy sports competition in young people, which will be replicated in other disciplines.
