Making a homeland for all and in love for Nicaragua, through the promotion of sport in the new generations, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in coordination with the Karate, Judo, Zambo and Taekwondo federations held a martial arts festival in the Alexis Argüello sports center.
This event was inaugurated by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas, who announced that more than 200 athletes participate in this tournament, all under 17 years of age, who represent the seedbed in these sports disciplines.
Likewise, he expressed that this new generation of athletes will be the representatives of our country in international tournaments, such as in the Central American Games of 2025, as well as in other tournaments that are held in these sports disciplines.
He also announced that for the next year 2020, 2 tournaments in these fighting sports will be held in our country, the Pan American Judo and the Central American Karate.
