The Departmental Cabinet of Tourism of Managua met with tourism servers to evaluate the results of the long weekend from September 14 to 17.
Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, Coordinator of the Tourism Cabinet, evaluated the economic and tourist movement in the department of Managua as successful.
He announced that this long weekend the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park registered the visit of 15 thousand people and the Paseo Xolotlán received 20 thousand visitors.
He also announced that tourist centers such as spas and hotels reported an increase in their visits.
He highlighted that sales at the National Baseball Stadium set record figures during the final series of games 1, 3 and 5. “More than 45 thousand people came to the three games in Managua, remember that the National Stadium has 15,500 seats, we had to enable additional seats never sold before to be able to put all the people who wanted to enter the stadium, ”said Armas.
