Mayor's Office announces Sports Day in celebration of the National Month

As part of the celebrations in greeting to our national holidays, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, in coordination with the Nicaraguan Federation of Karate, FENIMOTO and CONIMOTO presented, in a press conference, the different sports activities that will take place in the month of September.

Comrade Enrique Armas, Deputy Mayor of Managua, said that as part of the Good Government guidelines, to promote and develop sports activities, in this month of September, a day of sports activities will be held in its different disciplines.

This day will begin this Saturday 07, with the exhibition of modified cars and motorcycles to be held in the parking lot of the National Baseball Stadium, where the best 200 modified vehicles from all over the country will be presented.

Likewise, comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua announced that among the events that will guarantee joy, recreation and fun to all Nicaraguan families, in this national month, starting this weekend with the end of women's softball, in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park; the semifinal of the Alexis Argüello boxing cup, at the Tomás Borge amphitheater in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park; On September 22, the fighting sports festival will be held at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center and in the morning, the departmental moto-speed championship will be held on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez; as well as, the continuation of the superior league of basketball.

Likewise, it was announced that in addition to these activities in the capital, on Sunday, September 8, the sixth date of the moto-speed championship will take place at Los Brasiles airport, on September 15 in the tourist center of Granada, the departmental championship will take place. Motocross, on September 22 in Diriamba, will be the sixth date of the national ¼ mile moto speed championship and the sixth date of the national hard motorcycle championship and on the 29th the seventh date of the national motocross championship in León.
