Theatrical play of the Gesta de Andrés Castro presented in the park of the Máximo Jerez neighborhood

In celebration of our national holidays, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua presented the theatrical play “Andrés tira la Piedra”, which collects the history and heroic deed of the Battle of San Jacinto, also honoring the national hero Andrés Castro.

Comrade Griselda Rivas, Cultural Director of the Mayor's Office of Managua, announced that this theatrical work will be presented in all the districts of Managua, beginning this Sunday, September 1 in the park of the Máximo Jerez neighborhood, on the 02 in the park La Menen from the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood, on Tuesday 03 at the Sierra Maestra park, on Wednesday 04 at the San Luis neighborhood park, Thursday 05 at the Héroes y Mártires park in the 14 de Septiembre neighborhood, on Friday 06 at the Los Amigos park from Villa Progreso and on Saturday 07 at the Villa Libertad community park.

Similarly, comrade Griselda Rivas, expressed that, within the framework of the celebrations of the national holidays, the Municipality developed the festival of dance in love, which took place at the Rubén Darío National Theater, with the participation of more than 7 groups of the different districts of the Nicaraguan capital.
