Taiwanese Medical Day provides care to the inhabitants of Bethlehem City

In greeting to the 40th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, in coordination with the Taiwan Root International Peace Corps brigade and the Ministry of Health, developed a medical care session in the Ciudad Belén community of the District 6 of the Nicaraguan capital.

The conference was held at the Jesús Zamora Gonzales health center in Ciudad Belén, where care was provided in general medicine, as well as in the specialties of dentistry, gynecology, pediatrics and internal medicine.

The activity was attended by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of Managua and Mr. Jaime Chin Mu Wu, Ambassador of China (Taiwan) in Nicaragua, who provided the details of this medical brigade that will be in our country for 7 days.

The Taiwan Root International Peace Corps brigade in Nicaragua is made up of 27 Taiwanese volunteers, including general practitioners, dentists, pharmacists, and nurses; who since Saturday 13 have provided assistance in the municipalities of Dipilto, Somoto, La Trinidad, today in Managua and the following days in Ticuantepe and Tipitapa. For its part, the Ministry of Health had specialists and health workers to support this day of the common good.
