The number of decent homes built by the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua, through the solidarity of China (Taiwan) reached 121, which directly benefit the same number of families in the Nicaraguan capital.
These 121 families lived in vulnerable conditions, in the face of adverse weather conditions; Therefore, in response to their needs, the Good Government, through the solidarity and brotherhood of China (Taiwan), built them a decent home, which contributes to improving their quality of life.
The decent home was given to the family of Mrs. Guillermina Martínez, from the Benedicto Valverde neighborhood, who was very moved and grateful to the Good Government and to the Chinese Taiwan embassy, who supported her with the construction of her new house, in which feels safer and more protected.
The inauguration of this dignified home took place in a family and community atmosphere, where the neighbors gathered to celebrate the inauguration of the dignified home of Mrs. Guillermina Martínez, as expressed by Mrs. Micaela Barrios, who lives in the neighborhood, said she felt very happy for the restitution of rights that they did to her neighbor. It should be noted that in addition to the inauguration of the decent home, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power held a day of medical care and a children's afternoon, with clowns, face painting and piñatas.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Jaime Chin Mu Wu, Ambassador of China (Taiwan) in Nicaragua and Mayor Reyna Rueda, who thanked the support and solidarity of the people and government of China Taiwan.
Likewise, he highlighted the Good Government has executed in this capital neighborhood, several progress works that so far have the 90% of its paved streets, public lighting, rainwater drainage, sanitary sewer services and drinking water, in addition, 103 decent homes built from 2009 to 2019.
