The workers of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua participated in the Second National Multi-Threat Exercise, to safeguard lives, in the face of a natural disaster.
In the central offices of the capital Commune, located in the Camilo Ortega Saavedra Civic Center, 701 workers were evacuated, of these, 409 women and 292 men, in a total period of 47 seconds.
This exercise was carried out to be prepared for the threats that can occur in the rainy season, floods, strong winds, landslides, tornadoes and hurricanes, such as those that have struck at other times in the national territory.
The exercise was also carried out under the hypothesis of an earthquake of 7.7 on the Richter scale, with an epicenter in the El Tránsito sector, in the department of León, followed by an earthquake of 6.2 in the municipality of Managua, with an epicenter in the fault of the Airport.
