Capital commune serves road network with mechanized patching

The capital commune has three months to carry out maintenance on the capital's road network with mechanized patching, in those points where the asphalt is deteriorated.

Mechanized patching is a process that is carried out only at night when the traffic flow drops, maintenance of the road network began last April and during this time the main routes of District I have been attended, on the highway to Masaya and the track. of Altamira.

Once the patching is complete in District I, the work crews will move to the North highway where 7 kilometers of highway will be served.

Mechanized patching consists of removing the damaged asphalt, filling the damaged areas with hot asphalt again.

The maintenance of the road network through the patching will repair a little more than 25 kilometers of streets and will have an investment of 15 million cordobas thanks to the support of taxpayers.

The maintenance crews are made up of 30 workers, including operators and drivers of the machinery used in this process and the patching work that will end next August.
