Committed to eliminating critical points due to floods and improving the living conditions of families in the capital, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua carried out a storm drainage work in the Alfredo Silva neighborhood of District 2.
It is important to note that the Municipality has been developing projects to improve the living conditions of families in the sector, starting in 2016, with the construction of a drainage gutter, in 2017 it made the lining of streets and this year 2019, was completed with this storm drainage work, to eliminate this critical point from District 2 of Managua.
This rain drainage improvement work consisted of the construction of a transverse gully, the installation of 24 linear meters of 18-inch pipe and the discharge area.
The work was inaugurated by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who expressed the commitment of the Good Government to improve the living conditions of the capital's families; Likewise, he announced that this work had an investment of 167 Thousand Córdobas and that similar projects will soon be developed in different neighborhoods of the capital.
