The third phase of the North, Central America and the Caribbean Beach Volleyball Tour (NORCECA) was successfully developed, which took place at the beach volleyball stadium of Paseo Xolotlán, from May 2 to 5.
This international tournament, which took place in the Nicaraguan capital, had the participation of 32 teams, between women and men, from 13 countries of the American continent.
In the women's branch, the Nicaraguan team, made up of the young Socorro López and Lolette Rodríguez, won the silver medal and the gold was obtained by the Cuban team and the third place was obtained by the El Salvador team who played it in a game against the United States.
In men's, Cuba won first place followed by Guatemala and Trinidad and Tobago who reached third place in the competition in which they played all against all until reaching the final where each team showed their best.
The games of this tournament were well attended by families from the capital who came to the volleyball stadium to enjoy this sport.
