At a press conference, the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation and the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua announced the start of the tournament in the third phase of the North, Central America and the Caribbean Beach Volleyball Tour (NORCECA), which takes place from 2 to May 5 in the Nicaraguan capital.
This conference was chaired by Bertha Cuadra, President of the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation, who thanked the Good Government for the support in organizing this continental-level event, which is a qualifier for the next Central American and Caribbean Games; He also expressed that 32 teams, between women and men, from 16 countries of the American continent participate in this event.
For his part, comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua, expressed that with this event Managua will once again become the capital of Central American sports, as in December 2017 with the Central American games, as well as, A few days after the Pan American Olympic Boxing Tournament was held with the participation of 240 boxers from 32 countries and the Central American Cycling Championship.
