On the morning of Sunday April 6, the Managua caponier competition took place on the Paseo Xolotlán track, prior to the national competition that will take place in the capital.
In this event, 40 caponiers from the 7 Districts of Managua and the municipality of Ticuantepe participated, who were selected in the previous competitions.
The starting flag was made by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who highlighted the interest of the Good Government in promoting these recreational activities and family recreation.
Likewise, he announced that in this competition trophies were awarded to the winners and the first 3 places were awarded with cash, with 8 thousand, 5 thousand and 3 thousand Córdobas, to the first, second and third place of the competition respectively.
