Environmental Forum in salute to World Water Day

In order to promote the importance of caring for and conserving our environment and our natural resources, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in coordination with the Guardabarranco Environmental Movement and the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua held an environmental forum in celebration of World Day of the water.

This environmental activity was chaired by fellow Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who highlighted the importance of fostering these spaces for the analysis, reflection and exchange of environmental knowledge between students and professionals, which guarantee the protection and care of our mother earth.

Likewise, comrade Mario Armengol Cuadra, President of UNEN in the Rubén Darío Campus of UNAN Managua, expressed the interest of the student movement in this forum to promote the importance of caring for and conserving the vital resource that is water, which is why developed this meeting in which 300 students from different careers from this public university in Nicaragua participated.

In addition to this forum, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua installed a stand, where information was provided to the public and souvenirs were handed out, through dynamics and questions about the environment.
