Mayor of Managua invites to celebrate the Big Party of the Bicentennial Carnival

With an outpouring of joy and color, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua will carry out this coming Saturday 23 from 3 in the afternoon on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez the Bicentennial Carnival of Managua, in commemoration of the 200-year history of the city of Managua.

At a press conference, the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, made a cordial invitation to all Nicaraguan families to enjoy this great parade in peace and harmony, which will be accompanied by the best comparsas of the capital and representative floats at the 200 years of the city.

"We are inviting all the families of Managua and all the municipalities of Nicaragua to come and celebrate these artistic demonstrations with us, celebrating these 200 years of history, we are going to have a journey of more than a kilometer of floats and troupes representing different departments. , like Managua, Boaco, Masaya, León and Bluefields ”, added Rueda.

He also announced that this parade will be accompanied by the National Police, the Fire Department, the Red Cross and the Sandinista Youth volunteers, to provide security and tranquility to the families.

For his part, General Commissioner Fernando Borge, Second Chief of the Managua Police, reported that they will be executing a plan starting today to allow all the country's families and foreign visitors to enjoy this joyous carnival.

"As the National Police we will be contributing, providing the necessary facilities through the main access roads of the different means of transport, private, collective or on foot, in such a way that it can allow us to enjoy ourselves in joy," added Borge.

The security section will be comprised of the traffic lights of the Ministry of the Interior and before reaching the Hugo Chávez Frías roundabout, to previously organize all the groups that will participate in this cultural festival, as well as there will be vehicle traffic regulation devices.

Likewise, in the northern part they will have devices that will allow normal road circulation from East to West or vice versa and in the part of the Hugo Chávez Frías roundabout, coming from the South and also heading West, the road will be free and surveillance of patrols in a perimeter of more than 500 meters on both sides of where the event takes place.
