Women in kayak competition in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park

As part of the celebrations in the month of women, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua organized the first kayak competition in the artificial lake of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park.

This sporting event was chaired by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua, who expressed the Good Government's commitment to promoting recreational activities and healthy family recreation.

Likewise, he announced that in this competition 33 women participated, 12 from the islets of Granada and 21 workers from the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua who competed in 2 groups, in which the first 3 places were awarded.

The results in the competition of the participants from Managua were in first place Cindy Abarca, a worker from the Central Workshop, in second place Julissa Suárez from the Sports Directorate and in third place Ana Castro from the Batahola Soccer Academy; In the group of the islets of Granada, the girl Marisol Potoy was in first place, in second place the young María de los Ángeles Ramos and in third place Tifany Ramírez.
