Women's Volleyball League begins

On the night of this Tuesday, February 19, the inter-institutional women's volleyball league was inaugurated in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, which begins with the participation of 12 teams.

This sporting event was inaugurated by colleague Jennifer Porras López, Secretary of the Managua Council, who highlighted the support of the Good Government for the national sport in its different disciplines and categories; thus contributing to the promotion of recreation and healthy recreation in the capital families.

This sports tournament will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 consecutive months, in the modern volleyball courts of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, which have artificial grass and a lighting system for the best performance of the athletes.

On the first day of games, on the first court, the teams from the Carlos Roberto Huembes Hospital and the Ministry of Finance, as well as ENEL and the INSS; In the second field, the INISER and TELCOR teams, as well as the Managua Mayor's Office and the National Agrarian University (UNA).

For their part, the participants were optimistic about this tournament, as expressed by Mrs. Nubia Palacios from ENEL, who said she was happy to be able to practice this sport that she always wanted to play; Similarly, Fabiana Gutiérrez from the Mayor's team said that she is excited about the tournament in which she will give her best.
