Children's Cycling in Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez

From the early hours of Sunday, February 10, Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez was lively with the attendance of many children on bicycles and skates, who arrived with their parents to participate in the event "A day without traffic."

Boys and girls from different parts of the capital participated in this sporting event in cycling and roller skating competitions, awarding the first 3 places in each category. This competition was developed in 5 categories, the first from 2 to 4 years old, then from 5 to 7 years old, from 8 to 10 years old, from 11 to 13 years old and from 14 to 15 years old.

This event was attended by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who expressed the Good Government's commitment to promoting sports and healthy recreation in capital families.

He also announced that this competition was coordinated by the capital city with the Nicaraguan Cycling Federation, creating a cycle ride in a closed circuit that extended over Avenida de Bolívar to Chávez.

The parents of the competing children expressed their satisfaction with this activity that guarantees family recreation, free of charge and unique fun for the children, as expressed by Mrs. Ana Lucía Gutiérrez.
