Municipal authorities awarded first place in the digital art contest, in homage to the 103rd anniversary of the passage to immortality of the illustrious Nicaraguan poet and father of modernism, Rubén Darío.
This event, promoted by the Directorate of Cultural Programs of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, was attended by several young people who presented their artistic designs between January 18 and February 4; in which they exhibited their creativities in homage to the Prince of Castilian Letters.
The winner of the contest was Miss Sarex Bonilla Delgado, a young economist who presented her design that represents the light and life of Rubén Darío, which was posted on the networks and obtained 11,164 likes in a period of 16 days.
Among the parameters of this contest was the presentation of the files in Illustrator, Photoshop, Gimp or Corel Draw programs, with measurements of 1200 x 717 pixels, in free style, but always highlighting the honor to the life and work of Rubén Darío. The first place prize was 18 Thousand Cordobas in cash.
