Mayor's Office and private company start a new low-income housing project

Nicaraguan families will be able to opt for a new housing project with affordable housing, the residential is called Monte Nebo and will be built on the south side of the airport, there are 310 lots and the houses will have 54 square meters of construction.

The new housing complex is possible thanks to the public-private alliance made by the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity through the Pro Nicaragua Agency, the Mayor's Office of Mangua, Invur, Cosovi, and the North American company New Century.

The project was presented to the public by Pro Nicaragua's investment advisor, Laureano Ortega Murillo, in the project's model house built in the Rubén Darío neighborhood of District I, located on the south side of Paseo Xolotlán.

"We are presenting a project with enormous potential, which has the objective of providing Nicaraguan families with access to decent housing at affordable prices."

Together with the presidential advisor, Mr. Alex de la Cruz, president of the New Century construction company, explained that this would be the first housing project of 2019, the goal is to reach thousands of Nicaraguans.

"This is the first housing project, there are 310 lots, the goal is to build 2,000 homes for families who do not have their own home, monthly payments range from $ 60."

The president of New Century has been investing in the country for 10 years and highlighted the government's support for social programs for the benefit of Nicaraguan families.

“For me this is a dream come true because from the day I arrived in this country, I saw the need for housing and my dream was to have a home for less than $ 100, therefore, this project has a biblical motto from the beginning. Mount Nebo, you can access the promised land with a decent and safe home with all the basic conditions ”.

US investment of Panamanian origin will continue to invest in the housing sector thanks to the confidence in government programs.

Vice Mayor Enrique Armas expressed the joy of the local government to participate and create new options for the Nicaraguan people and also explained the requirements to apply and acquire one of these homes.

“We are celebrating together this important project that will transform the lives of many families who will be able to apply to the program, just by being of legal age, proof of the INSS, they must also present a denial of assets, where the applicant proves that they do not have or have received benefits or properties, approved applications will receive a bonus from INVUR ”.

You must present a photocopy of the identity card, salary certificate or proof of income, INNS stub and 230 dollars for additional expenses for bank fees.

The houses will have two bedrooms, a bathroom, a dining room and a 142-square-meter lot, at a cost of $ 10,500.
