The Good Government through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, builds the monument to Peace and Life, which is built in tribute to the Nicaraguan people and in recognition of the value we give it, as an essential element to move forward as a nation.
On the afternoon of this Wednesday, January 16, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of Managua, made a presentation of the Monument to Peace and Life, which has a preview of the 90% in its construction, which will be inaugurated in the following days.
This Monument will have a central square, which will contain 7 stars that incorporates the elements of life, water, air, earth and fire; In addition to a pedestrian bridge with lifts for people with disabilities, it will be 112 meters long with a maximum height of 7.75 meters and the lowest part 6.5 meters, which exceeds international standards; from where you can have a panoramic view of the monument, which is located between the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park and Plaza 22 de Agosto.
It is important to note that this monument is integrated into the spaces for recreation and family recreation rescued and built in recent years in the historic center of Managua, which contribute to the integral development of Nicaraguan families.
