In promoting sports and healthy recreation for families in the capital, the Good Government in coordination with the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua reopened this Thursday, December 27, the community parks of the Miguel Gutiérrez neighborhood, District 6 and the Germán Pomares neighborhood in District 5 of the Capital.
The community park of the Miguel Gutiérrez neighborhood was handed over to the community by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua, who expressed the commitment of the Good Government to improve the parks for the recreation of the capital's families, also urged the population to take care of this work of the Common Good, as part of shared social responsibility.
This park in District 6 was sponsored by the National Lottery, which invested 840 Thousand Córdobas, to repair the perimeter fence, the construction of the access gates, the maintenance and repair of the children's games, as well as the general painting of the same.
In the community park of the Germán Pomares neighborhood, the appointment cut was made by the Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who delivered the rehabilitation work to the families of the sector, who were happy with the removal of this family recreation space, as well as stated Mr. Carlos Carcache, an inhabitant of this community in District 5 of Managua.
The reopening of this park consisted of the rehabilitation of children's games and multipurpose court, repair of the perimeter mesh, benches and water fountains; work that was executed and sponsored by INISER.
Both community parks were reopened in an atmosphere of joy and community, with clowns, folkloric presentations, piñatas, jump-jump, children's dynamics and sports competitions.
