250 altars were registered for the contest and to visit them all, the qualifying jury left at 3:00 in the afternoon, to visit each of the works of art built with love and fervor in honor of the Virgin Mary.
To choose the grandores, a jury made up of 14 members toured the 7 districts of the capital two by two, starting at 3 in the afternoon simultaneously, this was confirmed by Reyna Rueda, Mayor of Managua, at the altar of the Immaculate Conception.

The jurors toured the streets of the capital to evaluate the registered altars, choosing three finalists by districts (first place, second place and third place), there are 21 winners in total and this December 15 they will be awarded with C$9,000 for the first place , C$7,000 for second place and C$5,000 for third place.
