With the representation of the Güegüense or Macho Ratón, Managua Linda Managua and other representative dances of Nicaraguan folklore simultaneously with the masterful interpretation of the Municipal Band of the capital, the Leal Villa de Santiago y Novia del Xolotlán made the tourist launch of Managua, in the reopening of the Loma de Tiscapa National Historical Park.
The Tourism Cabinet of the Capital, made up of the mayors and vice mayors of all municipalities, accompanied by companies from the city's tourism sector, presided over the solemn act, with which El Mirador Loma de Tiscapa opens its doors to national and foreign tourists.
The mayors of the municipalities of the department of Managua carried out the tourist launch of the capital "Managua Siempre Linda" this November 30, the date on which the end of the year festivities throughout the country begin.
Reyna Rueda, Mayor of Managua, when welcoming all the councilors present, reiterated the commitment of the Local Governments to work in coordination to guarantee all Nicaraguans an environment of peace and a path of prosperity to continue advancing.
“We are the municipalities articulated for the same purpose. Before Managua was only a transfer step, however, everything has changed with the tourist circuit. We have much to offer national and foreign tourists who used to only come passing through, today we have different tourist destinations and all this is possible thanks to the political will of a Revolutionary Government chaired by Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario who promote the recovery of public spaces for family recreation, today we enjoy a cultural display because we live in peace, all families have the right to live in peace ”.
"We have a government that promotes each of these efforts and all united what we propose we can achieve it," stressed Rueda.
For his part, the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, stated that this effort is part of the great work of the different municipalities, INTUR, INIFOM and the Central Government.
“We are making this precious corner known to all, which as of today is open to different activities, so I invite you to join us in this Linda Managua in the month of December, which has the Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez, which is the the capital's main tourist destination, thank God Nicaragua continues to be the safest country in Central America ”.
Armas stressed that Managua also has one of the most modern stadiums in Central America, a majestic sports center and that on the Avenue there are restaurants, tiangues, the Salvador Allende port, Paseo Xolotlán, altars in honor of the Virgin Mary, vendors and entrepreneurs who offer their products.
The artistic gala was under the direction of the Municipal Band of the Mayor's Office of Managua and the folkloric ballet of Professor Lester Fuentes, who were in charge of a cultural range that further highlighted the beauty of the historic Loma de Tiscapa, which today has children's games. , benches and modern lights.
During the event, entrepreneurs set up a fair in which they showed their products such as coconut oil for the skin, natural creams, cereals, costume jewelery, pizzas and artisan breads, gastronomy originating in Cuba.
