Managua has a New Tourist Attraction in Lake Xolotlán

The Momotombito boat is a new tourist attraction in Managua, which navigates the waters of Lake Xolotlán, where national and foreign tourists can appreciate the city of Managua from a spectacular perspective at night, as well as during the day.

This boat gave its inaugural departure, on Saturday, November 17, from Puerto Salvador Allende in a festive atmosphere with the assistance of Vice Mayor Enrique Armas, Coordinator of the Tourism Cabinet of the Department of Managua, colleague Virgilio Silva, Executive President of the Company Nicaraguan Port, deputies and members of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.

The blessing of the boat was carried out by the priest Antonio Castro of the La Merced Church of the Larreynaga neighborhood, who together with his colleague Virgilio Silva, broke the traditional bottle of Champagne as the opening ceremony.

The Momotombito boat is a small cruise ship with three decks in which there is a restaurant area, a disco and the upper deck; with capacity for 160 people and sets sail from Tuesday to Sunday from Puerto Salvador Allende with prices of 50 children and 150 adults.
