The tourism council of the department of Managua met in San Francisco Libre, where the tourist launch of this municipality located on the north shore of Lake Xolotlán was held.
This tourist launch was held at the “José de la Cruz Mena” miraculous waters hydrotherapy and mud therapy medicinal center, from where comrade José Ángel Velásquez, Mayor of the San Francisco Libre municipality, invited Nicaraguan families to visit this area of the country.
In the tourist presentation of this municipality, Mayor Velásquez announced the different tourist attractions that San Francisco Libre offers, among them the Limón Forest, the Cerro Güisisil Waterfalls, the Carlos Fonseca Amador Port and the Poza Azul de Pochotio.
Likewise, Mayor José Ángel Velásquez highlighted the work of the Good Government, which has promoted the integral development of the entire municipality, through the construction of a primary hospital, the access road, as well as the electrification of the entire municipality of San Francisco Libre, which in 2000 was the 9% and now the municipality's 83% has electric service.
For his part, Mr. Guillermo Fuentes, head of the "José de la Cruz Mena" miraculous waters hydrotherapy and mud therapy medicinal center, invited families to visit this place that offers them medicinal treatments to cure dermatological problems and stress. They offer packages that include accommodation to tourists.
