As part of the promotion of sports and family recreation, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua organized, in coordination with the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation, the school tournament and the Open Beach Volleyball tournament at the Paseo Xolotlán stadium.
With the joy of living in peace, the school volleyball tournament was held, in which young people from 35 schools in Managua participated, between private and public, who disputed the first 3 places in the competition.
In the school tournament, the women's competition was the San Sebastián school in first place, the Divino Pastor school in second place and the Anunciación school in third place; In Male, the Esquipulas school teams swept the first 3 places.
On Sunday, November 4, the Volleyball Open was held with the participation of several teams, with the first place winners in women being Socorro López and Swan Mendoza; In men's, the young Rubén Mora and Dani López won, both couples will represent Nicaragua in the Major Central American Beach Volleyball Championship to be held in Panama from November 7 to 12.
