In commemoration of the Day of the Dead Saints, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power organized pitched masses in the different municipal cemeteries; in the Eastern Cemetery, the mass celebrated by Cardinal Leopoldo Brenes, which was attended by comrade Reyna Rueda, Mayor of Managua.
During this visit to the Managua Oriental Cemetery, comrade Reyna Rueda said that the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power carried out renovation works in the different municipal cemeteries, where cleaning and ornamentation days were previously carried out, through chapoda work, tree pruning, as well as, signaling of streets and gutters to provide better attention to the visitors of this cemetery.
He also announced that the Municipality has planned the construction of the first stage of a new municipal cemetery in Sabana Grande, which is included in the Draft of the General Municipal Budget of Managua.
For their part, the capital families who visited the graves of their relatives expressed their satisfaction with the cleaning work carried out in the different municipal cemeteries.
