As part of the promotion of sports and healthy recreation for families in the capital, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in coordination with the Nicaraguan Cycling Federation, held the National Cycling Championship against the clock.
This event was attended by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who expressed the commitment of Good Government in promoting and supporting sport in its different disciplines.
He also stated that this sporting event had the participation of almost 100 cyclists from different municipalities of the country, including Managua capital, Mateare, León, Masaya Granada, Rivas, Somoto and Chinandega.
The Competition was held on Sunday, October 21, from 9:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon, on the new Sabana Grande Track in District 7 of Managua.
Cycling against the clock or also called Crono is a modality in which a speed and endurance competition is carried out, which are carried out on paved streets or flat terrain.
