In a family and community atmosphere, the Oscar Turcio Chavarría park was reopened, located in the Las Palmas district of District 2, which was delivered to the community by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua.
The rehabilitation of this community park was carried out by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in coordination with the Good Government, through the National Port Company.
This work for the common good is part of the alliance model, which promotes Good Governance between institutions and local governments, to guarantee better living conditions for families in the capital. The improvements to the community park consisted of repairing and painting the playgrounds, 2 sports fields, a battery of restrooms, as well as the benches and pedestrian platforms.
For their part, the families of the sector expressed their gratitude for the rehabilitation of this community park that benefits the residents of the Las Palmas district, as well as the families of the Javier Cuadra, Manuel Olivares, Monseñor Lezcano and Altagracia neighborhoods.
