Improvement works in the General José de San Martín park

With an overflow of joy and festivity, the General José de San Martín park was reopened, in the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood of District 2 of Managua.

The removal and rehabilitation works of this community park were carried out by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Defense, who repaired and painted the playgrounds, the floor of the multipurpose court, the garden area, the trash cans, benches, as well as the perimeter fence.

The reopening was chaired by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, and comrade Martha Ruiz, Minister of Defense, who handed over the park to the community of the populous and traditional Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood.

The activity took place in a festive atmosphere with artistic presentations by the rhythmic band of the Miguel Ramírez Goyena Institute, folk dances, piñatas and clowns; For their part, the inhabitants who attended the event expressed their satisfaction with the improvements made to this family recreation space.
