As part of the promotion and development of basketball in our capital city, the Germán Mullin basketball league was inaugurated in the Hugo Chávez Frías sports complex.
In this basketball tournament, 10 teams will participate from the neighborhoods surrounding the 14 de Septiembre neighborhood, where the sports complex is located; This league will last 3 months and the games will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 at night.
The athletes Alvin Camacho and Noel Mckenzie, organizers of this event, thanked the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua for the support they provide to this sport with the construction of infrastructures for the practice and promotion of basketball in the new generations.
For his part, Germán Mullin was grateful for the recognition made by naming the league with his name and said that this tournament will help identify new prospects in national basketball.
