Launch of Managua and its tourist destinations

The Mayor's Office of Managua, in coordination with the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism, announced the launch of Managua and its municipalities as tourist destinations with the "Nicaragua always beautiful" campaign, which begins on November 1.

The launch was made at the House Museum of the General of Free Men and Women Augusto Nicolás Calderón Sandino, located on Paseo Xolotlán, with the participation of entrepreneurial protagonists of tourism and artisans who offer in the markets the varied handicrafts that tourists like so much .

With this campaign, all the tourist spots and destinations that the Bride of Xolotlán offers to foreigners, Nicaraguan families will be promoted, and its objective is to promote the arrival of tourists to the country and the capital.

Vice Mayor Enrique Armas, highlighted the importance of supporting and promoting all those Nicaraguans who want to undertake tourism projects

“We are entering an intense day together with the INTUR brothers, to promote all the tourist destinations of the capital, we have a more beautiful, more attractive Managua, we will continue promoting the development and all the projects of entrepreneurial brothers of tourism that aim for the benefit and common good of Nicaraguan families ”.

Martha Baltodano, INTUR Delegate, explained that the “Nicaragua always beautiful” campaign has more than 3000 activities programmed to reactivate tourism in Managua and all the departments.

"We are gradually reactivating the tourism sector in Managua and all its municipalities, here you can make all types of tourism, whether religious, convention, rural tourism, therefore, we have a reactivation plan that begins this weekend with the celebration of World Tourism Day, where all the tourist offers of the capital and its municipalities will participate; at the same time there will be a gastronomic fair, where 23 countries will participate on September 21, 22 and 23, with free buses that will take visitors to Olof Palme ”.

The opening hours from this November 1 at Paseo Xolotlán, will start from 11:00 in the morning until 9:00 at night, from Monday to Sunday; In the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the markets from 5:00 a.m., the trails of Loma de Tiscapa will open its doors from 9:00 a.m. tomorrow until 5:00 in the afternoon from Monday to Sunday.
