Municipal Academy of Swimming makes a call

As of this August 27, the Mayor's Office of Managua began the registration process for all residents of the capital who wish to take swimming lessons at the "Michelle Richardson" swimming pool complex, the project, in addition to supporting and promoting the sport of swimming, seeks the discovery of the future swimmers who will be promises of the sport.

Mayor Reyna Rueda explained that 4 instructors will be in charge of monitoring the new students.

“Our academy begins on September 9 with the first classes, athletes will be able to train from 5:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night on weekdays and on weekends from 8:00 in the morning to 5: 00 in the afternoon ”.

Miguel Asensio, Secretary General of the Nicaraguan Swimming Federation, explained that the instructors will attend groups of 8 or 10 people to guarantee quality.

"As a federation we are going to support the technical part so that we can develop the academy in an organized and well-planned way, we are going to look for new talents and in the future make the swimming team of the Mayor's Office."

The monthly classes will cost $ 20 on weekdays and weekends $ 15, the swimming academy will provide scholarships to children and young people who are future promises of swimming and if a swimmer wants to swim he will pay $ 2 the day.
