Inauguration of the Children's Baseball Academy in the Pochocuape region of Managua

As part of the promotion and development of sport in the new generations, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power, inaugurated the Children's Baseball Academy in the Pochocuape region of District 3 of Managua.

This children's baseball academy will operate every Saturday in the Pochocuape field, where 80 children between the ages of 4 to 15 will train, from this region and the surrounding sectors.

The inaugural launch was led by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who delivered the sports equipment for the academy's training sessions, and also expressed the Good Government's commitment to continue supporting the sport.

Likewise, the national team of Ofilio Castro was present, who shared with the children his experience and the reasons to strive in this sport, to achieve their dreams in baseball.

With this inauguration, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, increased to 5 its children's baseball academies in the capital, being training places the Hugo Chávez Frías children's stadiums in the 14 de Septiembre neighborhood, the Roberto Clementes of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park , in the San Luis neighborhood and in the Nicaraguan Institute of Sports.
