In the first week of August, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua opened a basketball academy in the Hugo Chávez Frías sports complex, located in the 14 de Septiembre neighborhood of the capital city.
The practices in this academy are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon, registration is open and it is completely free.
Currently this academy has 62 members among children and young people who practice in 3 categories, the Mini that serves children from 8 to 12, the Catwalk with adolescents from 13 to 15 years old and the Youth where they practice those from 16 to 18 years of age. age.
The boys who are members of this academy called on the children, youth and adolescents of the capital to enroll in the basketball academy, which helps them develop physically and mentally, as stated by Miss María José Guerrero and the young Hamilton Castillo and Jonathan Montoya.
