Track repairs continue

With the objective of improving the road network of the capital city, the Mayor's Office of Managua, with the support of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, is making progress in repairing the cobblestones in the main damaged roads of District 6 of Managua.

This Tuesday, July 3, the Municipality continued to carry out cobblestone removal and placement works on the Sabana Grande and Solidaridad tracks.

On the road to Sabana Grande, we worked from the traffic lights of the Primero de Mayo neighborhood to the Sandak sector of the Iván Montenegro market, in this section 565 square meters of track were repaired, with the installation of 11,865 paving stones.

On the Solidaridad track, the eastern side of the section from the La Virgen roundabout to the Portezuelo overpass was repaired, where 3,110 pavers were installed in an area of 157 square meters of track.

This track repair day was carried out with the support of 150 operators, 8 trucks, 2 backhoe loaders, 3 skid steers and a soil compactor.
