In Solemn session, the Managua Council delivered the Municipal Order Andrés Alexis Argüello Bohórquez, to the javelin champion Dalila Rugama Carmona in the Central American Games, as well as to two outstanding baseball players Julio Moya Espinoza and Ernesto López Ugarte, who gave glory to the national sport in the decade of the 70s and 80s.
This municipal order is delivered to national and foreign personalities, who stand out in the different sports disciplines.
Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, imposed the medal of the Municipal Order on the 3 decorated athletes, expressing that they are a source of pride for the national sport; He also highlighted the inspiring legacy of the Three-time World Boxing Champion, Alexis Argüello, who was a tireless promoter of unity, love, affection and solidarity.
