With the aim of promoting the different tourist destinations in the Nicaraguan capital, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua made a tour of Paseo Xolotlán and Laguna de Tiscapa with managers and owners of tour operators, who work in our country.
The tour was led by Comrade Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales and Comrade Clemente Guido, Director of Municipal Historical Heritage, who exposed the qualities that the different tourist destinations of our capital city present.
On this tour, the building authorities showed the tour operators the attractions that the Xolotlán promenade contains, where foreigners can see the replicas of different tourist sites of our country in the same place, promoting interest to visit the real sites in their original context.
They also toured the trails of the Tiscapa lagoon, an attraction where you can quickly connect with nature, without leaving the city; In this site, you can see the water mirror, as well as the flora and fauna that this natural reserve conserves.
The owners of the tour operators expressed their commitment to include these sites in their tourist routes; For her part, Mrs. Verónica Waiman, from Waiman Tours, said that now several destinations can be combined in a single point, for those tourists who visit us for a short time; Likewise, Mr. Oscar Obando, a Costa Rican investor, was motivated by the tourist offer offered by the municipality of Managua, in the same way, Mr. Petri Jakkola, General Manager of Jakkola Tours of Finland, said.
