In celebration of World Water Day, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power, with the support of 90 young people from the Guardabarranco Environmental Movement, UPOLI and UNAN-Managua students, carried out a cleaning day in the entire Tiscapa lagoon area. .
This environmental day is part of the permanent campaign carried out by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, in the care, conservation and protection of the water bodies of our capital city, in which cleaning days are held monthly.
It is important to highlight, in the Tiscapa Lagoon, the capital's Commune executes various actions that are dedicated to the sanitation and oxygenation of the water, improving the habitat of the existing species in this ecosystem.
