Mayor's Office pays tribute to proud women of my municipality

Within the framework of the International Women's Day celebrations, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua paid a well-deserved tribute to the work of 3 women, who have dedicated their lives to the promotion and strengthening of our culture and national identity, to through dance and music.

The tribute was dedicated to the folklorists, Blanca Guardado and Haydée Palacios, as well as the music teacher Svetlana Lucía Boyarova, who were presented with a plaque of recognition that declares them Pride Women of my Municipality, in recognition of their total dedication. of a life, to transmit Nicaraguan folklore to new generations, lovingly carrying the name of our country and the blue and white flag, beyond our borders.

The activity was chaired by Comrade Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado and Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who expressed that the municipality continues the day of celebration for Nicaraguan women, in this sense, tribute was paid to these outstanding women in the national culture.

For their part, the honorees thanked the recognition granted, the teacher Svetlana Lucía Boyarova, who has worked in culture since 1988, and who expressed her gratitude to the building authorities for the distinction given; Likewise, it was stated by Professor Blanca Guarded, director and founder of the Tepenahuatl Folkloric Ballet, with 37 years of existence; Likewise, Professor Haydée Palacios was shown who since 1966 has been involved in the artistic environment.
