Cuban athletes Ana Fidelia Quirot and Javier Sotomayor, who were decorated by the Managua Council with the Alexis Argüello Municipal Order of Sports Excellence, were invited by the Municipality to visit the sports facilities, recently built by the Good Government and the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power.
The tour, which was chaired by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas, began at the facilities of the new Dennis Martínez National Stadium, later they visited the Alexis Argüello Sports Center and the Michele Richardson Swimming Pool Complex.
Likewise, comrade Enrique Armas announced the determined support that Commander Daniel and comrade Rosario Murillo have given to the sport, which can be seen in the achievements of Nicaraguan athletes in recent years, as well as in the new sports facilities built by the Good Government.
For their part, the athletes were happy and expressed their admiration for these sports facilities; They also thanked the authorities for the reception and the care provided.
