Ambassador of Japan visits the new municipal authorities

The Japanese Ambassador to Nicaragua, Mr. Yasushi Ando, in the company of the First Secretary and Head of Cooperation and Culture, Mr. Shinji Nishiyama, paid a courtesy visit to the new municipal authorities this Friday, January 19.

Mayor Reyna Rueda, along with Vice Mayor Enrique Armas and the Secretary of the Municipal Council, Jennifer Porras, expressed their gratitude to the ties of friendship and collaboration between the Municipal Government and the Embassy of Japan.

The Ambassador, who arrived in the country three years ago, highlighted the pleasure of the Japanese Government in working and strengthening the ties of friendship with both the Municipal Government and the Central Government, among the topics addressed is the climate of tranquility and citizen security that is breathed in the country and the impact of all the projects financed by the Japanese Cooperation.

Reyna Rueda, Mayor of Managua, highlighted that the success of the projects is due to the coordination and inter-institutional work between the Municipal Government and the Central Government.

The representatives of the Japanese diplomacy invited the new authorities of the capital commune to the Fifth Festival of Japan that will take place on February 10, from 11 in the morning, in the Japan-Nicaragua Friendship Park.
