At a press conference, the municipality announced that as of this Monday, January 8, new points of payment of the rolling tax corresponding to the year 2018 were enabled, which must be made before March 31.
The new boxes to make the payment of the bearing tax are located in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, where they will attend from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon; in addition, the central collection boxes in the Mayor's Office and in the 7 district delegations, where an additional box was installed.
Likewise, comrade Eduardo Gaitán, Collection Director, announced that last year 273 thousand vehicle owners paid their rolling tax, so it is expected that this year it will increase by 10% according to the growth of the park vehicular.
With the payment of this tribute, in 2017, 32 million Córdobas were collected, which contributed to carrying out improvement and maintenance works on the road network of our capital city.
The rolling tax establishes a rate according to the 13 categories of existing vehicles, ranging from a motorcycle, which pays 50 Córdobas to a heavy cargo truck, which has a tribute of 1 thousand cordobas.
