The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua organized the consultative council for the 2018 budget, with residents of neighborhoods and regions of District 7 of the capital.
In this consultative council the proposal of the municipal general budget was presented, which has a projection for this coming year of 6,609 million 814 thousand 517 Córdobas.
The projected budget for District 7, in Current Expenses and Capital Expenses, is quantified at 568 Million 85 Thousand 605 Cordobas, of which 32 Million 725 Thousand will be allocated to execute 25 projects from the district delegation.
Likewise, 30 projects will be executed from the infrastructure department with an investment of 149 million Córdobas; in addition to environmental projects and programs and from the human development department.
Among the projects to be carried out in this district, is the expansion of the storm drainage system of Villa Canada, the construction of a vehicular bridge that will link the neighborhoods Carlos Núñez and Annex to Villa Libertad, as well as road improvement works with ready-mixed concrete in the neighborhoods Lomas de Guadalupe II stage, Villa Canada and February 25.
