As part of the restitution of rights to families in the capital, the Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, executed the construction of new tennis courts and children's areas with electromechanical games, in the first stage of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez park Flowers.
This inauguration was presided over by Comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Deputy Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales and Comrade Fidel Morenos Briones, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, who urged to take care of these works of the common good, as part of social responsibility shared.
They also explained that these works make up the fifth construction phase of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, which includes the construction of 6 tennis courts with 1 thousand 470 seats, fully illuminated and within the standards established by the specialists; as well as 2 areas with 14 electromechanical games, to which a children's play area is incorporated.
For their part, the families visiting the park expressed their satisfaction with the works carried out, in the same way said Mr. Luis Silva, President of the Nicaraguan Tennis Federation, who said that these courts are a dream come true for all tennis players. from the country.
Similarly, comrade Fidel Moreno said that these tennis courts were part of the 5 pending projects to be inaugurated as part of the infrastructure that will be used in the Central American Games, the other 4 pending to be inaugurated in the next few days are the sports center Alexis Argüello, the pool complex, as well as the arena that will host the beach volleyball competition and the Cycling Cross circuit, which will be set up on Paseo Xolotlán.
