This Thursday, November 9, the honorable Managua Council held the consultation meeting for the 2018 Municipal General Budget in District 1, where the budget proposal built within the model of citizen power was presented.
In the presentation, it was announced that the institutional consolidated budget projected for 2018 will be 6 thousand 609 million 814 thousand 517 Córdobas, of which 74,11% will be invested in Capital Expenditures, that is, investments in the execution of projects and programs of the Common Good.
In District 1 of Managua, 520 million 904 thousand 760 Córdobas will be allocated, of which the 4,47% will be in Current Expenses and the remaining 95,53% in Capital Expenditure, which is quantified in 497 Million 621 thousand 932 Córdobas, an amount that will be invested for the execution of 38 projects from the infrastructure department, 24 district projects, 11 environmental projects and 32 human development projects, as well as maintenance works, public cleaning, machinery and equipment, among others.
Among the district projects in this sector of the capital, road improvement and storm drainage works were mentioned in the second stage of the Hialeah neighborhood, stage IV, in the second stage of the Memorial Sandino neighborhood, in the Jonathan González neighborhood and Las Viudas region.
For its part, the population expressed support for this budget presentation built with the participation of the families and communities of District 1, as part of the Citizen Power model that promotes Good Government.
