They pay tribute to the musical composer of the National Anthem

In commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the birth of Luis Abraham Delgadillo, author of the music of the National Anthem of Nicaragua, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua organized a tribute to the memory of this outstanding musician from the capital.

The ceremony was presided over by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, who highlighted the musical contribution that Luis Abraham Delgadillo gave to the National Anthem.

This activity began with the imposition of a wreath to the mausoleum of the famous musician, located in the General Cemetery of Managua, with the presence of students and historians who spoke about the musical contribution of Luis Abraham Delgadillo; also the Municipal Band offered a small concert in his tribute.

Luis Abraham Delgadillo, was born on August 26, 1887, in 1906 he studied music at the conservatory of Milan, Italy, then he returned to Nicaragua, he was a pioneer in conducting research on the folk music of Nicaragua, he composed many works among them of Religious nuances, such as the themes dedicated to the celebration of the Immaculate Conception.
